We collect various types of information to provide and improve our service: • Personal Data: When registering, we collect your name, email address and profile photo. • Location: With your permission, we collect your real-time location (including in the background during an active trip) to show nearby routes, track your trip, and enable features like SOS, live location, and vehicle position. • Emergency Contact: If you set one up, we store the name and phone number of a trusted contact, used exclusively when you activate the SOS button. • Usage Data: Information about how you access and use the service (IP address, browser type, pages visited). • User Content: Saved routes, comments, ratings and route reports you generate on the platform.

We use the information collected for various purposes: • To provide and maintain our service. • To notify you of changes to our service. • To allow you to participate in interactive features when you choose to. • To provide customer support. • To gather analysis or valuable information to improve our service. • To monitor the use of our service. • To detect, prevent and address technical problems.

Some Platform features share your location with other people, either explicitly or anonymously, as described below: • SOS: When you activate the SOS button, you can choose to send your current location and trip context via SMS to your emergency contact, or share it through your device's native share sheet. This action always requires your confirmation; it is never sent automatically. • Live Location: If you turn on this feature, we generate a public link (no account required) showing your position updating in real time until you choose to stop it or it automatically expires. Anyone with that link can view your location while it's active. • Vehicle Position: While you're riding a route within the app, your position is broadcast automatically and anonymously (with no name or account data attached) under that route's identifier, so other users can see approximately where the vehicle is. This broadcast stops automatically once you're no longer in transit. • We never sell your location information to third parties for advertising purposes.

The security of your data is important to us. • Infrastructure: We use Supabase as our backend platform for secure data storage and authentication. • Protection: We implement commercially acceptable security measures to protect your personal information, although no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. • Access: Access to personal data is restricted to employees and contractors who need to know that information to operate, develop or improve our service.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and hold certain information. • Session: We use cookies to keep your user session active. • Preferences: We use cookies to remember your preferences and settings (such as dark/light theme). • Security: We use cookies for security purposes.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our service (Service Providers), provide the service on our behalf, or help us analyze how our service is used. • Maps: We use mapping services (such as Mapbox or OpenStreetMap) that may collect your location and technical information to display maps correctly. • Authentication: We use authentication services that manage secure login. • Emergency Communication: SMS messages or calls sent from the SOS button are handled through your own device's native features (not our servers); we have no access to the content of those communications.

As a user, you have rights over your personal data: • Access: You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you. • Rectification: You can update or correct your personal information through your profile settings. • Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and personal data from our systems. • Portability: You have the right to request a copy of your data in a structured format. • Location Control: You can stop live location sharing at any time from the SOS menu, and delete your emergency contact from your profile settings whenever you want.

Our service is not directed to persons under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you know that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
